Live Blogging: New York Mets at Chicago Cubs

Hello and welcome to another edition of Live Blogging on 'Shish on Baseball'.  Tonight it is the N.L. Eastern Division leading New York Mets vs. Chicago Cubs.  The game will be played at Wrigley Field.  This is a best of 4 series.  Tonight Starting Pitchers are Matt Harvey for the Mets and Jason Hammel for the Cubs.

Live Blogging: Kansas City Royals at Chicago White Sox

I want to apologize for not being able to do some live blogging the last two weeks.  I am going to do one tonight as Kansas City Royals take on the Chicago White Sox.

Tonight it is Yordano Ventura vs. Chris Sale.

Top of the 1st Inning;

Kendrys Morales Drives in Mike Moustakas and Lorenzo Cain.  Royals lead the White Sox 2-0.

Middle of 1st Inning:

 Royals lead the White Sox 2-0.

Bottom of 1st Inning:

White Sox go 1-2-3.  Royals lead White Sox 2-0.

Top of 2nd Inning:

Alcides Escobar hits into a 6-4-3 double play.  Royals still lead 2-0.

Top of 4th Inning:

Salvador Perez hits into a 3-6-3  double play.Royals still lead 2-0.

Bottom of 4th Inning:

White Sox has runners on 1st and 2nd with no out.  Jose Abreu on 2nd, and Adam LaRoche on 1st.

Alexei Ramirez hits a RBI single driving in Avisail Garcia.  Royals lead White Sox 2-1.
